The personal data controller
Interex Sh.P.K. is the personal data controller for the processing of personal data on lindexkosova.com. The personal data manager is responsible for ensuring that lindexkosova.com processes data in accordance with the current legislation in Kosovo.
Which personal data is collected about you as a customer and why?
This section describes the purposes for which we process personal data, which categories of personal data are processed and the legal basis on which the processing is carried out for you as a customer on lindexkosova.com.
1) For managing orders/purchases
Personal data is processed in order to: deliver the products or services ordered/purchased (including delivery notification or contact regarding the delivery), enable identification and age verification, manage payments (including analysing which payment solutions to offer), carry out verification against external sources, such as SPAR, and manage matters relating to returns, complaints and warranty.
The categories of personal data processed: name, contact information (e.g. address, email, telephone number), payment information (e.g. transaction reference, transaction date, More card number), customer number, payment history, order information (e.g. what product has been ordered or whether it should be delivered to a different address).

Periudha e ruajtjes: Until the purchase has been completed and for a period of 36 months thereafter. In the case of customers who purchase without registering, we retain your personal information for 12 months after the last purchase.
2) For managing and administering your user account
Personal data is processed in order to: ensure authorisation for access, enable identification and age verification, keep information accurate and up to date, enable tracking of purchase history, manage your settings and information regarding payment history and payment options, and facilitate saving shopping lists, make suggestions for shopping lists or similar measures that make things easier for you.
The categories of personal data processed: name, contact information (e.g. address, email, telephone number), username and password, purchase history, technical information relating to your computer, mobile phone and other devices you use and their settings, payment history, customer number.

Periudha e ruajtjes: For as long as you have an active account. If you have not made any purchase in the last 36 months, the data will be removed.
3) For marketing products and services
Personal data is processed in order to: display relevant product recommendations, suggest shopping lists, send reminders about forgotten/abandoned digital carts or save shopping lists to simplify future purchases, and send direct marketing via email, text messages, social media and similar electronic communication channels, as well as post, including promotions from partners to existing customers outside our loyalty programme.
The categories of personal data processed: name, contact information (e.g. address, email, telephone number), age, place of residence, information about how the customer uses the company’s websites and other digital channels, information relating to completed purchases, data generated by users (e.g. clicks and visit history).
Baza ligjore: Registered and unregistered customers – legitimate interest. Recipients of newsletters and website visitors – legitimate interest. Processing is necessary to fulfil your interest and ours in being able to market products and services.

4) For carrying out and managing participation in competitions and events
Personal data is processed in order to: communicate with participants in a competition, communicate with participants before and after an event (e.g. confirmation of notifications, questions or evaluations), enable identification and age verification, and select winners and award prizes.
The categories of personal data processed: name, age, contact information (e.g. address, email, telephone number), the details submitted as part of a competition application, the details submitted as part of the assessment of an event.
Baza ligjore: Legitimate interest. The processing is necessary to satisfy your interest and ours in being able to conduct and manage competitions and events.
Periudha e ruajtjes: For as long as is necessary to complete the competition/event (including any evaluation).
5) For managing the booking of services
Personal data is processed in order to: manage bookings, re-bookings and cancellations, and to communicate regarding the booking and provide service reminders.
The categories of personal data processed: name, contact information (email, telephone number), the information you choose to provide, which enables the service provider to prepare the service.

6) For managing customer service cases
Personal data is processed in order to: communicate with the customer and provide answers to questions submitted to customer service by telephone or digital channels (including social media), enable identification, and investigate complaints and support cases (including technical support).
The categories of personal data processed: name, contact information (e.g. address, email, telephone number), your correspondence, information relating to the date of purchase, the place of purchase, or defects/complaints about the product, the user information for My Pages, technical details about your devices required for support cases.
Baza ligjore: Legitimate interest. The processing is necessary to satisfy your interest and ours so that we can manage customer service cases.
Periudha e ruajtjes: Correspondence in customer service cases is kept for 12 months.
7) For preventing the misuse of a service or for investigating and preventing crimes against the company
Personal data is processed in order to: investigate or prevent fraud or other criminal offences, prevent unwanted mail (spam), fraud, harassment, unauthorised access to user accounts or other prohibited actions, and protect and improve our IT environment against attacks and intrusions.
The categories of personal data processed: purchase and data generated by users (e.g. clicking and visit history), data relating to the devices used by the customer and their settings (such as language settings, IP address, browser settings, time zone, operating system, screen resolution and platform), information on how our digital services are used.
Baza ligjore: Legal obligations where such exist or, alternatively, legitimate interest where the processing is necessary to fulfil our legitimate interest in preventing the abuse of a service or investigating and preventing crimes against the company.

Sharing and transfer of personal data
Personal data may also be transferred for necessary processing to other companies with which Interex Sh.P.K. cooperates, e.g. Facebook, in the case of marketing (printing and distribution, media agencies, etc.), distribution and transport, payment solutions and IT services. When your personal data is shared with Interex Sh.P.K.'s partners, the data will be processed according to Interex Sh.P.K.'s instructions and on behalf of Interex Sh.P.K., and only for purposes compatible with the purposes for which Interex Sh.P.K. collected the data.
Furthermore, Interex Sh.P.K. may be legally obliged to provide information to government authorities (e.g. the police and the tax authorities). Interex Sh.P.K. may also provide personal data to companies that offer payment solutions (e.g. payment service providers and banks) and to businesses that provide general transport of goods (e.g. logistics companies and freight carriers). In such cases, the partners will process the data as independent controllers of personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and management guidelines.
Storage of personal data
The processing complies with legal requirements, which means that personal details are not stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing. In practical terms, this means that information is removed when it is no longer relevant or necessary for analysis or direct marketing, or for the purposes for which it was collected. For marketing purposes, we do not use information relating to purchase transactions that are older than 3 years. All handling of personal data will be subject to a high level of security and confidentiality.
Your rights and options
The right of access: We want to be open and transparent about the way we process your information, and if you would like to learn more about the personal data being processed, you have the right to request access to your data.
The right to rectification: You always have the right to request that your personal data be corrected if it is inaccurate. Within the framework of the stated purpose, you also have the right to complete any incomplete personal data.
The right to erasure: You have the right to request that the personal data we are processing be erased if: the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was collected or processed, you have withdrawn the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal basis for the processing, you object to a balancing of interests that we have carried out and there is no legitimate interest for Lindex Kosova that overrides your interest, you object to the processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data is processed unlawfully, the personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or the personal data has been collected from a child (under 13 years) for whom you have parental responsibility in relation to IT services.
There may be reasons why we do not accept your request for erasure if there are legal obligations that prevent us from doing so. This may be the case if the processing is necessary to exercise our right to freedom of expression and information, to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The objection also includes the analysis of personal data (so-called profiling) that is carried out for direct marketing purposes. If you object to direct marketing, we will cease processing your personal data for that purpose, as well as all types of direct marketing activities.
The right to data portability: If our right to process your personal data is based on your consent or on the fulfilment of commitments in an agreement with you, you have the right to request that the data relating to you which you have provided to us be transferred to another personal data controller.
